cause there's a knock on my door but i'm not gonna open it, i'm gonna close my eyes and maybe it will go away

shoes+shirt(w/ altered collar&sleeves): Target
leggings: Vans x Jesse Jo
hat: Creep Street

oh man...i really try to "cover" fashion week and get horribly distracted and can't be arsed to make a photoshop collage-man i just don't know how that Tavi does it...

BUT i've pretty much covered (and by that i mean i command+shift+4ed pictures from style.com,and linked back of course) the shows i've seen and liked on my tumblr if y'all wanna go ahead and check there(under mandy coon, gucci, jeremy scott, cushnie et ochs, kimberly ovitz, peter jensen, suno, betsey johnson and others that escape me sozz)

today it was uncharacteristically nice for an east coast winter today, and because i have like,4 t-shirts, i decided to cut the sleeves off of this one because they were pretty much smothering me

a little bit ago i ordered some awesome vans x jesso jo stuff and am dying for the opportunity to wear the rest; however, the checkered leggings are a little hard not to put on everyday-other than that i got the star print and bat print long-sleeved crop tops

also, lately i've been really into wearing snap backs and this Creep Street one is AMAZING-i've got a Mishka one(eyeball on the front+a mouth and teeth on the bill!) and one from my grandpa funny enough...the Creep Street hat also came with a bunch of amazing stickers which now adorn the back of my lap top. another obsession has been showing off my tattoos(did i post about that i really don't remember) which i hope to get more of once i get the $$$ so i can finish my Tim Burton sleeve(does anyone watch Face-Off the Tim Burton challenge was AMAZING)!

i need it to be spring already...

I can't say that I've been dying over runway fashion as much as I used to, but now that I'm back into the swing of following the Fall 2012 RTW shows I can say that it's become harder to find something that "wow"s me.  Usually I look to the usuals (Cushnie et Ochs, Mandy Coon, Betsey Johnson, Rachel Comey, Jeremy Scott, etc. etc.), the ones that can always keep it interesting from season to season.  And lately I've been stumbling upon more labels that I could say with confidence are me.

Which is why I found myself taken aback that from the first look of Gucci's RTW Fall collection, I was seriously in love.  I have always had a fondness for Gucci, but from collection to collection I can't say I have always been a fan.  Sometimes it's hit or miss, not just with this label but others as well.

ANYWAY-this is one of my favorites along with Elizabeth and James, Suno, Jeremy Scott(which is not surprising because I always love Jeremy Scott), House of Holland, and Mandy Coon[More on these later].

Again I am seeing an approach not dissimilar from the spring collections of some time ago where most collections were only of basic colors.  If done right, this can certainly be interesting, but if I am questioning whether or not I've just looked at the same picture of the same dress four times then I think it's a little on the tepid side.

These days maybe I'm bored a little too easily.
